About Knecto
Plain-language guides to agentic AI and automation, each paired with a free tool — built for people who’d rather try an idea than just read about it.
Why Knecto exists
“Agentic AI” went from a niche research term to something showing up in every product announcement, seemingly overnight — and most explanations either assume you’re already an engineer, or stay so high-level they never actually help you do anything.
Knecto exists to close that gap: one plain-English guide at a time, each one paired with a small, free, interactive tool so you can test the idea on your own terms instead of taking someone else’s word for it. New here? What Is an AI Agent? A Plain-English Guide is the natural place to start.
What we do
Every guide on Knecto follows the same shape: explain the concept clearly, show real examples, and then hand you a tool — a quiz, checklist, calculator, or estimator — built around that exact topic.
Guides first
Beginner-friendly explainers, comparisons, and tutorials on agentic AI and automation.
A tool with every guide
Each article is paired with something you can actually use, not just read.
No jargon by default
Technical terms are explained the first time they appear, or linked to our glossary.
Updated, not abandoned
The field moves fast — we revisit guides as tools, pricing, and best practice change.
Who’s behind Knecto
Hi, we’re Ghulam and Dildar. We co-write and maintain Knecto independently, without a large editorial team or outside investors — which is also why the site stays free and ad-light rather than gated behind a paywall.
Every guide is researched firsthand, tested against the actual tool or platform it covers, and reviewed before publishing. Where AI-assisted tools speed up our research or drafting, we review the result ourselves before it goes live — see our Disclaimer for the full detail.

Our editorial standards
- Independent recommendations. Affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend — see our Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure.
- Corrections welcome. If something is outdated or wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it — see our Contact page.
- No fear-mongering, no hype. We try to describe what agentic AI can and can’t do today, not what a press release says it might do someday.
- Privacy-respecting by default. Read exactly what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy.
