These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of knecto.xyz, including all guides, free tools, and the newsletter (together, the “Services”), operated by Knecto (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting the site, using a tool, or subscribing to the newsletter, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Cookie Policy.

Knecto publishes plain-language guides about agentic AI and automation, paired with free interactive tools — quizzes, checklists, calculators, and estimators — that help you explore an idea rather than just read about it.

Knecto is an independent educational publisher. We are not a software vendor, consultancy, or professional services firm, and nothing on the site should be treated as a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your own personal or internal business reference. You may share links to our guides and tools freely.

Our free tools (calculators, quizzes, estimators, and checklists) are provided to help you think through a decision. They produce estimates and general guidance based on the inputs you provide — they do not analyze your specific systems, contracts, or data, and their output should not be treated as a final answer.

All text, guides, graphics, logos, tool designs, and underlying code on Knecto are owned by Knecto or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted above, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, mirror, or create derivative works from Knecto’s content or tools, or use them for commercial purposes, without our prior written permission.

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract content beyond standard search-engine indexing.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the operation of our tools or site.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to impersonate any person or entity.
• Overload, disrupt, or degrade the Services for other users.

Knecto links to third-party tools, platforms, and resources for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, terms, or practices of any third-party site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk, and you should review that site’s own terms and privacy policy.

Our free tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Estimates (for example, time or cost savings) are illustrative only and depend on assumptions you provide. Do not treat any tool’s output as financial, legal, technical, or professional advice — see our Disclaimer for more detail.

Subscribing to our newsletter is optional and opt-in. We send an email only when a new guide or tool goes live. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and we will not sell your email address to third parties.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information provided is accurate, complete, or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knecto and its owners, contributors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (which, for most users of a free site, is zero) or a nominal amount as permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Knecto harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or restrict your access to the Services at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that harms Knecto, other users, or third parties.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Knecto’s operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation before either party pursues formal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
